Yes, I do in the Salmon River, NY. Not always exact glasso patterns since I like to change the colors around, but still in the style of tie.

Very nice Dave. I have been burning for a number of years now. I make everything from spey hackles to quills for trout fly bodies. Really works great.

In the fall after the leaf hatch is over I fish the purple and the brown mahogan quite a bit. Anything "crayfishy" will get tugs. The orange heron holds it own as well. Olive is also a good color to fish.
some good color combo's:
purple and blue
brown and orange
olive and chartreuse
pink and red
black and pink
black and blue
black and chartreuse
