Morning boys. Two good friends of mine from Ontario came down and joined us on the Margaree in October 2010. Mike Papais(Gr8LakesFlyer) and Jim Arthur(JStroke),,from Spey Pages if you guys know of them. Mike had been down the year previous but found the old goose egg,,, but this trip saw the first Margaree fish for both of these guys. It was a fantastic trip with good scotch, incredible gear, many flytying sessions and a good number of fish to hand. In short,,, what a week on a salmon river is all about. I'am not claiming to be a great film maker by any means,, but i hope you enjoy the video/slide show for what it is....a look back at a great week of salmon fishing on an incredible river by a good group of friends. Hey Dwayne,
You guys look like you are having a great time. Getting all that video and photos is not an easy job. Really appreciate seeing it all. I have always fished Margaree in late September till the end of the season. If you were to pick a two week period to fish the early run, what would it be?

June 20-July 5...likely thereabouts! The early run should be hopping by the 20th if its going to be at all so thats what i'd shoot for. Though in '11 myself and a friend hooked(not landed all but hooked) 90 fish over 8 days in early to mid July...but '11 was an anomoly likely not to be seen again for sometime. Last year saw almost zero fish in the same time period Just goes to show you never know lol
