Pam and I will be heading up to NY in the next couple of weeks and are looking for some recommendations on lodging, food, etc. I've been looking at what's available online, but would like to hear from you folks as to what you've experienced up there.? Not looking for top notch, but don't want "THE Best Bargain" either. Something nice, clean, quiet... maybe a B&B? We'll be bringing the gear along, of course, but we're thinking of this more as a scouting mission as we'll spend a day or two around SR and the Sandy's, and then head west to check out the Genesee, Oak, The Mile Creeks, and some of the Erie tribs before we head back to ME. Appreciate any help.

And the Riverhouse is across the street - good food there.

I agree with Paul!! I've never stayed there but have always heard great things about the service and the food.
I usually stay at Whitakers when I go up.

Thanks, guys... I appreciate. Think we'll give 1880's a try and maybe check some of the others out while there.
